Resolute Bear Press Panel at 2020 Atlantic Canada Studies Conference

“More Bridges Than Walls: Building Community Through a Book” a panel discussion about creating a literary community across borders through the publication of 3 Nations Anthology: Native, Canadian & New England Writers was accepted for the 2020 Atlantic Canada Studies Conference in Belfast, Maine, Thursday, May 14- Saturday, May 16 (final date/time TBD).

The theme of the conference is “Crossing Borders, Bridging Boundaries.” With most participants crossing the international border between Canada and the United States to attend the conference, we are using this opportunity to highlight research that in some way attempts to bridge boundaries, be they physical, disciplinary, metaphorical, or otherwise. Other research may engage with a borderlands framework, or could incorporate an interdisciplinary approach. As in previous ACS conferences, there will be a range of topics and themes focused on the study of the Atlantic Region. (from their website https://umaine.edu/canam/acs2020/)
